This site sets no cookies for visitors

There is no analytics, no advertising, no embedded tracker and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to. Every public page here, the application form included, is served without setting a cookie in your browser. The anti-spam check on the application form issues a one-time token, not a cookie.

The one exception: staff

A staff member who signs in to the review queue gets a session cookie, which is what keeps them signed in. It is strictly necessary, it is set only after that sign-in, and it expires on its own. No public page sets it.

Why there is no cookie banner

A banner that asks permission to do nothing trains people to click through the banners that matter. When this site does set a cookie, this page will say which one and why, and a banner will appear if one is genuinely required.

What will change

Signing in with Discord requires a session cookie. That cookie is strictly necessary (it is what keeps you signed in), and it will be described here when it exists. Anything beyond that would be opt-in.

Other sites

Discord and Tebex set their own cookies once you are on their pages. Those are theirs, and their policies govern them.
